A shoe designed for the high jump

This is Decathlon’s first ever specific high jump shoes. “So, you can imagine the pride of the design team that created it,” reveals Mehdi, before adding: “We imposed the highest standards. We had never managed to design shoes with so much support, but now we have finally cracked it!”.
The High Jump is a unisex shoe available in sizes 6.5 to 12. It comes with 12 mm spikes.

Tested and approved by athletes

Before approving this show, we had it tested by around thirty athletes: all kinds of high jumpers, from regional to international level. “A handful of them tested the At High Jump shoe for eight months, in the gym and outdoors, and their feedback was extremely positive,” explains Driss, field-testing engineer, who hopes to “bring hope to young athletes looking for a high-performance shoe”.

Outstanding support and firm grip for a demanding discipline

Our particular focus was on the issue of support. “In order for the shoe to become one with your foot, we placed the strap at the level of the quarter foot area” explains Olivier, one of the engineers who worked on this product.
A demanding discipline which involves a curved run-up and subsequent propulsion, the high jump puts particular stress on the feet. This is why we set such high standards when designing the shoe — to ensure optimal conditions for high jumpers.

Meticulous design

Treated like the little sister of the AT JUMP, it shares the same body, with support tailored to the high jump.
The graphic signature of the range here evokes the vertical trajectory of the high jumper. Yoann, one of our shoe designers, used this frame of reference when creating the shoe to ensure the graphic consistency of the entire range of athletics spikes. 
To sum up, this is a technical and elegant shoe that we are very proud to offer.
